About
Ok, here’s the stitch is a library of cross stitch patterns you can search by what you check first: size, colours, fabric count, level and time.
Why it exists
Finding a pattern you can trust is harder than it should be. Search on the big marketplaces stops at keywords and price, AI-made and copied patterns are everywhere, and free charts vanish when the sites that hosted them close.
What you’ll find here
- Charts from old needlework books, printed before 1931 and redrawn square by square. They’re free, for good.
- Designers’ free patterns, with the facts you need and a link to download them from the designer’s own site.
- Search by the facts: size, number of colours, level and how long it takes. Soon, finished size on your own fabric.
No AI
No AI patterns, no AI images, no AI clean-up of old scans. A person checks every chart against its source. How we check charts

Stitch happens. Weekly.
New charts every week, picked from the ones you’ve downloaded: easy ones if you’re starting out, more dragons if dragons are your thing.
